Bunbeg Holiday Homes Donegal
Bunbeg is a small fishing village with a beautiful little harbour, set in the heart of the Gweedore Gaeltacht, where Irish is the spoken language. The locale is well served with a variety of shops, fine restaurants, B&Bs and Hotels.
A warm and friendly atmosphere is to be found in the local pubs; many of which have regular traditional music sessions. Gaoth Dobhair or Gweedore is perhaps the most unusual semi-urban entity in Ireland. Attractions in the area include Glenveagh National Park
Although home to a large population, it has little of the streetscapes and other characteristics associated with towns, except that is for its southern end at An Bun Beag or Bunbeg.
The little harbour of Bunbeg is in a picturesque and well sheltered spot here where the Clady River enters the sea, and unlike the rest of the area, which displays a fairly idiosyncratic approach to the way in which houses and other buildings are designed and located, Bunbeg has a more considered look.
