Kincasslagh Holiday Homes Donegal
Kincasslagh is a small village located by the sea in one of the most beautiful and scenic regions of Ireland, the Rosses in North West Donegal. Nearby there are wonderful beaches – just beside the village is a large tidal strand, wonderful for walks when the tide is out.
One can walk to the bottom of Cruit Island and/or under Cruit Bridge to Keadue, Inishinny and Cloghlass. Notable for being the home of the famous folk singers Margo and Daniel O’Donnell, the village’s only pub is called Iggy’s Bar and is one of the few traditional pubs left in modern Donegal.
The village’s shop, called The Cope, is part of a co-operative retail chain local to the area. Donegal Airport, with scheduled flights to Glasgow and Dublin is located among the sand dunes just along the coast at Carrickfinn. A short drive takes you to one of Ireland’s most spectacular links courses on Cruit Island.
